Notions and snapshots that shape our day to day.

We’ve been busy this season on a variety of projects with varying styles. Here is some work from the past couple of months:

Invitation and Welcome packet for a Hilton Head Bride. We loved the teal ink she incorporated into her set!

Save the Date Postcard for a bride from New York. Beautiful photography to work with!

Fun coasters for a reception!

Food signage for a very lovely recent wedding

This bride is all about some glam. We loved turning her style into a save the date!

The Charleston Trees are ever popular! We were happy to revisit this set for a recent bride.

Happy Thursday friends!  I am back from Turks and Caicos and happy to report that Mendi and Adam’s wedding was perfect.  The bride was stunning, the groom, very handsome, the food, especially the lobster, was delicious and the weather was just what every bride dreams it would be on their special day, amazing!  As soon as pictures surface, I will be sure to post some for you.

Back at work, we have been busy bees fielding inquiries, meeting with newly engaged brides, working on spring/summer wedding invitations and fall save the dates.  We have some fun new designs in the works and cannot wait to share them with you.  Rachael especially has been hard at work painting wedding venue scenes for new brides Christin and Corey.  From the Ocean Course at Kiawah to the Hope Town Lighthouse in the Bahamas, these illustrations give wedding guests a sneak peak into their big day.

Recently, we have also used photo rendering techniques to set the tone for our September bride, Jennifer.  Her wedding was held at the breathtaking Swan House in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jennifer’s colors were gray and white with a touch of green.  The black and white rendering of the Swan House, mixed with the elegant calligraphy by Elizabeth Porcher Jones, was perfect for a deckled edge save the date to introduce her wedding guests to this grand location.

Call the studio today and let us paint the perfect picture for you!

Fine Foil…

September 29, 2011 in Save the Dates

Foil stamping is certainly one of our favorite printing techniques, and we LOVE when a bride chooses to incorporate it into their wedding stationery. We are thrilled about this save the date created especially for one of our favorite clients Megan.  Matte foil stamping allows you the opportunity to pair a darker colored stock and with a contrasting colored foil as seen above in White.  Drawing from Megan’s wedding colors curry and cool gray, we set the tone for her guests in bold fashion.  Megan’s save the date panel was printed on curry stock with matte white foil, and her accommodations were printed on a bright white stock with flat gray ink.  We incorporated a matching gray button and string tie envelope with a custom address label. This perfect piece hangs above my desk on our inspiration wall, and when it catches my eye, it makes me smile.  So beautiful!
