Notions and snapshots that shape our day to day.

This save the date was inspired by a series of after-hours floral doodles that soon became a pattern for the back of the save the date card. We love the simple front juxtaposed with the intricate hand drawn back. Patterns like these  can easily be made into envelope liners or  thank you cards!

We have so many brides who take gorgeous engagement photos. We love when they are able to use them throughout their wedding stationery. These save the date postcards are a great way to make it happen. A postcard is such a fun piece of mail, and our brides are able to completely customize both the back and the front!

A map of your wedding location is a great way to orient your guests and give info about your events. This hand-sketched map of Charleston directed guests to accommodations and wedding festivities. In our opinion, a map is the most creative and interesting insert!

Do you love your engagement photos and want to share your favorite with all your guests? This save the date not only included a snapshot of the couple, but also shared important information like accommodations and events. Kristen and Andrew chose a letterpress two card save the date tied with a blush ribbon. We mounted a photo of the couple on the card. We love how clear and crisp the black and white photo looked next to the soft colors and texture of the card. Why not use an actual photo? It’s a great keepsake and looks so classy!

Recently we’ve had the opportunity to take a break from the computer and create design elements for many of our clients using our hands! Above is a save the date for a wedding in Kiawah Island, South Carolina this May. We wrote out “Save the weekend” and “Kiawah Island”, adding a personal and unique touch to this fun design. We are excited to see what else comes of this lettering trend this season!

For all of the brides that love a cohesive stationery suite, this wedding will strike your fancy! This stunning event from last spring took place at Lowndes Grove Plantation here in Charleston, South Carolina. Designed by Ellen Robinson at WED, each piece of this wedding, from the pillows to the centerpieces, created an elegance that is hard to beat! We designed a die cut letterpress save the date for Patty and Drew in royal blue. The menus and table numbers repeated the same shape and pattern from the save the date, but in gold foil. We also created die cut royal blue stickers for her welcome bags along with her welcome packet. One of our favorite projects for Patty was her petite ceremony program with a custom drawing of Lowndes Grove on the cover. Oh…and can we talk about the die cut passed hors d’oeuvres signs? Beautiful detail!

Great ways to keep a stationery suite consistent without being boring: think of your favorite shapes, color, and pattern, we will take it from there!

Hope you enjoy these beautiful photos by Charlotte Elizabeth Photography

Rachael’s youngest sister, Lauren, was married only two weeks ago on a beautiful Sunday in Colorado. It was a blast to create her stationery from start to finish and surprise her with each piece. Save the Date: 2 cards, white foil with a patterned back banded in purple and tied with twine. Invitation: an accordion folded booklet with a white foiled cover, attached reply card, and envelope including pennies to bring to the wedding—a family, good luck tradition. We loved her choice of deep purple and pop of orange and watching this theme play out in her stationery and wedding decor. Congratulations, Lauren and Brian! We wish you the very very best!
