Hello and happy Thanksgiving to our Studio R friends and family. We could not think of a more perfect holiday post to share with all of you in the midst of a season of being thankful for friends and family. September 24th, my brother-in-law, Chip married the beautiful and ‘oh so sweet’ Heather (Peebles) Johnston, on the bank of the Kiawah River. The ceremony took place at my in-laws at eleven in the morning, and the rain held off just long enough to make their vows official… and take a few outdoor snapshots too! Friends and family alike, jumped on board to help with every detail of this very special occasion, and paved the way for a breathtaking celebration. Cru Cafe prepared a delicious brunch featuring a crepe station, eggs benedict station and more. (My first “brunch” wedding… and I am really liking this idea!) Our favorite cousin, Rebekah Harkins made the beautiful wedding cake complete with three irresistible flavors to satisfy every sweet tooth. Event details were crafted by the uber-talented Hannah Alexander of WED, show stopping photography was delivered by the one and only Josh Drake, and of course Studio R dabbled in the stationery design, to establish the look and feel for this spectacular event. The day was so special, you could feel all of the love in the air, and I was truly thankful to be a part of their special day. After a beautiful afternoon reception, Chip and Heather packed their bags and headed off to Europe, for a very special honeymoon! Below are just a few photos, but to see more visit Josh Drake’s blog…
