The benefits ordering a classic save the date:

  • Personalized assistance: Following an initial design consultation, you will be paired with an experienced designer to not only bring your vision to life, but to assist in wedding etiquette. Our designers have a vast knowledge of wedding stationery and will guide you through the process of creating a beautiful and informative save the date.

  • Design library: Working with Studio R gains you access to our incredible artistic library. As a client, you are given the opportunity to select art from our extensive 20 year in-house designs. This includes:

    • Watercolor venue and landscape paintings

    • Watercolor wedding crests and wreaths

    • Watercolor and hand-sketched maps

    • Watercolor floral patterns, motifs and event icons

  • Color palette: Our designers will talk through your wedding color pallet and will suggest ink and envelope options to complement your theme. 

  • Envelope addressing: Our save the date packages include digital envelope addressing. We provide you an etiquette guide to help you format your guest list. We will print your envelopes in a matching ink and font color. This allows for a cohesive package inside and out!

  • High quality materials: Our cards are flat printed on a 1-ply cotton based card stock. We offer a variety of colors and textures to ensure even the smallest of details matches your style. Our envelope colors and sizes are endless, we love getting creative.

Elevating your save the date:

Adding any of the following upgrades requires special attention from our designers. We will work closely with you to bring your unique vision to life.  Elevated Save the Date order requirement: $2,600.  Most average closer to $3,500. 

Possible upgrades:

  • Commissioned art: Our in-house artists will work with you to create a custom painting or line-art drawing. This can include venues, landscapes, custom wedding weekend maps, wedding crests, floral patterns, monograms, and even pet portraits!

  • Elevated printing methods: Letterpress printing, engraving, foil printing, embossing and edge painting.

  • Elevated materials: Deckled edge paper, 2-ply cotton based paper, and colored backing layers.

  • Make it pop: Ribbon ties, wax seals, printed vellum, custom shaped and envelope liners are all ways to elevate an already special design. We are excited to hear your new ideas!

what to expect from a studio r invitation:

  • Choosing your priorities and setting a budget with your designer: Due to the highly custom nature of our invitations, pricing is based on elements such as number of cards, design and art customizations, printing methods, ink colors and optional extras such as ribbons, wax seals and custom shapes. A designer will meet with you directly to learn more about your overall vision and help you prioritize elements to fit within a budget you are comfortable with.

  • Staying close to the minimum order requirement: Our invitations are special, and we want you to feel like we have nailed your vision. The base pricing includes a full suite; invitation, response set, enclosure card, lined and digitally addressed outer envelope. You will also have access to our artistic library of crests, motifs, venues and painted landscapes. This process allows for complete customization of ink color, font layout, sizing and personalization to ensure a truly unique product.

  • Exploring our extra-special offerings: Elements such as 2-ply paper, bevel and edge painting, die cut shapes, embossing, specialty ribbons and new commissioned art are just a few ideas that we can explore. Each enhancement is priced following our detailed design consultation, ensuring every element aligns perfectly with your vision. We thrive on creativity and collaboration, blending your unique ideas with our design expertise to craft a masterpiece that is truly unparalleled. average investment: $3,500

Availability is limited and is reserved only for those who will meet our $10,000 minimum requirement. If you know you want to save room in your budget for day-of stationery, please let us know ahead of time so we can help guide you accordingly. A detailed day-of pricing guide will be provided upon signing our client agreement.

Average pricing is based on a 125 guest count wedding, please note these numbers can change based on your design specifications:

  • Welcome Itineraries: $900

  • Tags and Stickers: $225

  • Note Cards: $350

  • Program: $600

  • Personalized Menu: $800

  • Welcome Sign: $150
